Hey y’all! I’m Melissa owner of BEPDshop! I’m a full-time working Administrative Coordinator, a wife, and a mom to 11 year old boy/girl twins! They are my why, my heart, and my everything and the reason I became a shop owner.
My business began in 2015 when I began making hair clips for toddlers and kids. My daughter, Lily was my inspiration. She LOVED bows and wanted all of them so I began to make them for her. My shop name, Blue Eyed Princess Designs was named after her. We called her Princess and just like her mommy, she has blue eyes, hence my shop name. I was first introduced to the world of decorative planning in 2016 when I happened upon a creative planner group on Facebook. I had always been a planner and sticker collector growing up. I loved me some Lisa Frank and I never went anywhere without my trapper keeper! As I entered the retail world, I was a store manager for 15 years and Franklin Covey was my go-to planner. Although I used minimal stickers in my planner, I found the glorious planner world with all its sticker GLORY on Facebook. I began making planner bow charms. This was keeping with my daughter’s love of bows but transitioning into the planner world.
Another fun fact, I am a true crime fanatic! I love all things True Crime and the snarkier the better. I was an avid listener of My Favorite Murder podcast and any detective show. In additional to the planner charms, I soon added True Crime stickers to my shop. I wanted to design stickers that fit my personality and style and my love of True Crime. I am a true Plannerino! I later added more snarky non true crime stickers and functional stickers to the shop. Planner kits soon followed as more customers requested these items. Now I offer unique and eclectic alternative style planner stickers for all planner types and journalers!
It has been an amazing experience running my shop over the last 9 years. I’ve met so many wonderful planner people and made some fantastic friends along the way.
